Sir,
Referring to Circular Despatch of the 16th.
Moy, 1912, I have the honour to forward a return showing the imports and exports of opium to and from the Colony
and the opium boiled by the Government Monopoly in the
Colony during the year 1916.
I would point out that in the return of opium
boiled by Government Monopoly there is included the raw opium confisented but not the prepared opium which is
reboiled and added to the General Stock from time to time.
The difference involved is 17 chests or roughly 17,500 tnels.
I enclose so copies of regulations mode
during the year regarding the price of opium sold by the
Monopoly.
